Overview

Essential Event Management (EEM) was privileged to partner with the Trussell Trust in their mission to tackle food poverty and provide essential support to communities across the UK. Trussell Trust approached us to organise and manage their “rolling roadshow” event series, which facilitated important discussions with Foodbank Managers and key team members in six different locations throughout the country. This roadshow aimed to strengthen connections and improve the network’s capacity to serve communities in need.

Project Scope:

From branded ticketing to technical support, EEM provided a comprehensive suite of services to ensure the roadshow ran smoothly and made a lasting impact. By partnering closely with the Trussell Trust team, we managed each aspect of the event, tailored to meet the logistical and branding needs of this important initiative.

Our Services Included:

Branded Ticketing and Registration
To create a seamless and professional experience for attendees, EEM developed a branded ticketing site where delegates could easily register. Our system captured important registration details that were used to personalise badges and support networking at each location.
Personalised Delegate Badges
Each attendee received a branded badge tailored with information gathered during registration. This thoughtful touch facilitated introductions and fostered meaningful connections between delegates, enhancing the networking experience.
Venue and Accommodation Management
EEM handled venue selection and accommodation arrangements, coordinating with local vendors in each city to ensure that every stop on the roadshow was optimised for attendee comfort and accessibility.
Logistical Support
Our team provided logistical support throughout the roadshow, coordinating transportation, schedules, and on-the-ground needs to ensure that each event location was prepared to host both the Trussell Trust team and their attendees effectively.
Technical Management
EEM managed all technical aspects, including sound, lighting, video, and stage design, to create a polished and engaging atmosphere. Our setup provided a professional backdrop for Trussell Trust presentations, discussions, and community interactions.
Onsite Event Management & Health and Safety
With a dedicated EEM team on-site at each location, we oversaw event management and ensured adherence to all health and safety standards. Our presence allowed Trussell Trust’s team to focus on their mission and connect with foodbank managers without logistical concerns.
