Overview

Essential Event Management (EEM) is honoured to be the trusted event management partner for Spring Harvest, an annual event that gathers around 10,000 guests across two locations: Minehead and Skegness. This faith-based event offers a rich experience with exhibition spaces, worship sessions, and engaging workshops, creating a unique environment for attendees and exhibitors alike.

We also went online - In 2020, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Spring Harvest was cancelled just two weeks before the event. EEM quickly adapted, transforming the program into an online experience that went on to reach an unprecedented 187,000 people—Spring Harvest’s widest reach to date. Project Scope:

EEM provides a full-service event management package for Spring Harvest, covering both on-site and digital experiences. Working closely with Spring Harvest’s team, we coordinate all aspects of the event, ensuring a seamless experience for guests, exhibitors, and contributors alike.

Our Services Included:

Online Event Delivery Platform
To reach a broader audience, EEM developed and managed an online platform for live-streaming, workshops, and interactive sessions. Our platform design allowed Spring Harvest to engage thousands of participants from the comfort of their homes.
Content Creation and Editing
EEM edited video content, designed graphics, and produced animations to enhance the digital event experience, ensuring that online attendees enjoyed a dynamic and visually engaging program.
Analytics of Delegate Engagement
We tracked engagement metrics throughout the event, providing Spring Harvest with valuable insights on attendance, participation, and feedback to inform future event planning.
Volunteer Recruitment
EEM handled the recruitment process for over 1,000 volunteers, ensuring adequate support for every aspect of the event and creating a welcoming experience for all attendees.
Delegate Registration and Bursary Administration
Our team managed delegate registration, including the administration of bursary and concession applications, ensuring that Spring Harvest remained accessible to a diverse audience.
Catering Logistics
Coordinating with on-site catering teams, EEM ensured that guests at both venues enjoyed high-quality, seamless food service throughout the event.
Exhibition Management
Our team organised and managed expansive exhibition spaces, creating valuable networking opportunities and enhancing the overall event experience for both exhibitors and attendees.
Contributor and Venue Liaison
EEM served as the main point of contact for all contributors, ensuring clear communication and a smooth flow of events. We also managed logistics for venue and marquee hire, optimising space and functionality across both locations.
Recording and Media Production
EEM provided recording services and managed media production, capturing key sessions and workshops to extend the impact of Spring Harvest’s programming beyond the event.
Health & Safety and Technical Management
We ensured that all health and safety standards were met, from venue setup to live sessions, while also handling all technical requirements, including sound, lighting, and production management.
Event Report
Following the event, EEM provided a comprehensive report covering all aspects of the event, including attendance, engagement, and recommendations for future improvements.

Spring Harvest 2020’s pivot to an online platform was a resounding success, reaching over 187,000 people worldwide and setting a new benchmark for the event’s impact. As we continue to support the return of in-person gatherings, EEM ensures that each Spring Harvest is a meaningful, engaging, and seamless experience for all attendees.
