Overview

Essential Event Management (EEM) was honoured to partner with Divine Renovation, a Catholic ministry dedicated to parish renewal, in hosting the Catholic Parish Summit (CPS) for the first time in the UK. This landmark event brought together over 900 delegates, including prominent Catholic bishops and archbishops from both the UK and abroad, for an inspiring weekend focused on renewal and collaboration within parish communities.

Project Scope:

Divine Renovation UK (DRUK) approached EEM to provide comprehensive event management for the CPS, from initial planning through to on-site execution. Working closely with DRUK’s team, EEM delivered a full-service package, which included pre-event coordination, on-site event management, health and safety oversight, and advanced technical services tailored to the needs of this high-profile gathering.

Our Services Included:

Pre-Event Planning:
EEM’s experienced team supported DRUK in all stages of pre-event planning. We coordinated venue logistics at Harrogate Convention Centre, facilitated travel and accommodation arrangements for speakers and delegates, and aligned with DRUK’s vision to ensure every detail was meticulously prepared for this prestigious event.
Seamless Ticketing Integration:
To streamline delegate experience, we integrated an external ticketing service with our badge printing solution, allowing attendees to easily check in and receive personalised badges on arrival. This integration enhanced event flow and made on-site check-in efficient and welcoming.
On-Site Event Management:
Our team was present at every stage of the event, managing schedules, coordinating with vendors, and providing technical support to ensure that sessions, discussions, and presentations ran seamlessly. We facilitated interaction between DRUK and the technical staff, ensuring that the AV setup, lighting, and sound met the needs of a diverse international audience.
Health & Safety Coordination:
EEM handled all health and safety protocols, including crowd management and emergency planning, ensuring that all delegates experienced a secure and comfortable environment during the summit.
